Prof. Willie W. LU, well-known for his "LU's
Law", a worldly notable senior expert and technologist with
living & working experiences in Japan, Germany, USA, Hong Kong,
Malaysia, Singapore and China, is the

Prof. Lu
is a distinguished and prominent overseas Chinese
expert in wireless technologies worldwide. Currently, he holds
many technical as well as management positions across the globe,
including a chief strategic advisor of 3G/B3G/4G, an executive director of
U.S. Center for Wireless Communications, an executive director of global "Mission 2020 R&D Plan"
and an adjunct and/or consulting professor of many leading
universities in US, China and Europe including Zhejiang University and Stanford
University.

Prof. Lu has been
leading numerous IEEE technical activities including IEEE
Communications Magazine, IEEE Journal of Selected Areas in
Communications, Proceedings of the IEEE, IEEE Trans. on
Wireless Communications as well as IEEE Globecom, IEEE WCNC,
IEEE VTC, etc. He is in the editorial board of the flagship
IEEE Spectrum and IEEE Communications Magazine, and has been
leading over 40 IEEE special issues in emerging wireless
technologies.

Prof. Lu has been well trained for intellectual property (IP)
protection, and has attended more than 24 months on IP
courses, seminars and trainings in Stanford Law School,
USPTO meetings, WIPO meetings and other authorities since
2001. Dr. Lu is a well established IP technical examiner and
evaluator in US as well as in EU countries, and helped many
companies in defending their IP assets across the global.

Since 2000, Prof. Lu has been designing the wireless system
architecture for over 50 mobile smart phones based on open air interfaces by OWA. Prof. Lu was senior
principal wireless architect (chief architect level) in
Infineon Technologies AG, responsible for key accounts'
architecture including Samsung, Ericsson, Siemens, Sony,
Motorola, LG, Huawei, Panasonic, NEC, etc. He is a notable
wireless architect and technology evaluator in both Wall Street
(financial and PR) and Palo Alto Street (VC, technology and
legal), and advisor for top executives of Fortune 100/500
companies and Forbes Companies in Silicon Valley as well as
across the Unites States.


In 2000, Prof. Lu
founded the global 3G conference in the United States, late expanded to
World
Wireless Congress which greatly helped promote the ITU mission
of IMT2000 and Beyond. He is also one of the global founders
of B3G and 4G initiatives in ITU, IEEE as well as other
international bodies.

In 2004, Prof. Lu founded the
Global Mobile Congress in China to reflect the
increasing importance of the Asia-Pacific region in next
generation mobile communication technologies focusing on the
convergence of wireless access systems and wireless mobile
networks. This congress is the region's most authoritative
platform in the field.

GMC'2005 has been reported in over 50 medias
in China (including Xinhua News, CCTV, China Daily) for its
tremendous contributions to China's future mobile
communication technologies. All leading authorities,
policy-makers, technical experts and business executives
participated in this prestigious technology summit in
Chongqing, China.

In 2002, Prof. Lu founded the
Fourth Generation Mobile Forum (4GMF) which is becoming the
world's leading platform on the research, development, design
and standardization of emerging 4G mobile communications focusing on Open
Wireless Architecture (OWA). This 4G-OWA business will be over
$500B by year 2020.

Prof. Lu is a member of Churchill Club, the Silicon Valley and
